Ford Just Poached Apple Exec Who Was Leading Apple’s Automotive Efforts
While Apple seems to exist on a roll hiring engineers and experts from car companies, it looks like Apple might accept attracted plenty talent where they are now seen as being primed for being poached themselves. In an announcement from Ford, the company has revealed that they have hired Doug Field.
For those unfamiliar, Field had come up to piece of work for Apple back in 2018 where he had previously held a position at Tesla where he oversaw the evolution of electrical vehicles for the company. Conspicuously this was a big win for Apple back so since Field'due south area of expertise was kind of what the company wanted to do (or so the rumors claimed).
Nonetheless, over the years development on Apple's rumored electrical motorcar has hitting various road bumps, ultimately resulting in Apple moving development to some other division.
